Services
W3 Global Consulting offers three core service areas, each designed for a different kind of organizational need. Engagements are scoped collaboratively — we don't sell packages; we build agreements that fit.
Transition & Change Leadership
For organizations navigating CEO succession, restructuring, wind-down, or rapid growth.
Leadership transitions are expensive when they're mishandled — in talent, in culture, and in momentum. W3 works alongside leadership teams to design and execute the operational and cultural response to change: communication architecture, team alignment, performance continuity, and the internal systems that keep organizations functioning while the ground is shifting.
Typical engagement: 4–8 weeks · Project-based · Delivered on-site or remotely
This is W3's highest-leverage service. It draws directly on Winter's experience leading Align Impact through a founding CEO transition and a full organizational wind-down — work that required holding strategy and human complexity at the same time.
Fractional People & Operations Leadership
For small foundations, family offices, and impact funds that need senior operational expertise without a full-time hire.
W3 embeds as a fractional Chief of Staff or Head of People and Operations — taking on the high-stakes operational work that's been sitting on a founder or ED's desk for too long. Board meeting preparation, hiring infrastructure, performance systems, executive communication, grantmaking process design. We build it, document it, and hand it off in a way that holds.
Typical engagement: 10 hrs/week · Monthly retainer · Minimum 2-month commitment
Strategic Partnership Development
For organizations seeking high-trust connections across sectors and geographies.
This is where W3 started. Over more than a decade, our founder built and brokered partnerships across philanthropy, international development, corporate social responsibility, and social enterprise — in Uganda, Indonesia, Guatemala, Myanmar, and beyond. We help organizations identify the right partners, structure the relationship for mutual benefit, and make the introduction in a way that lands.
Typical engagement: Retainer or success-fee model · Scoped per engagement
A Note on How We Work
W3 takes on a small number of clients at a time — by design. That's what allows us to show up with full attention and genuine investment in outcomes. If the timing or fit isn't right, we'll tell you. If it is, we move fast.
